I served as the Creative Director, Stylist, and Writer for a deeply personal project initiated by Katie Losavio, a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor. Katie approached me with the vision of creating a photoshoot that would empower women experiencing hair loss due to cancer—reminding them of their beauty, strength, and resilience. I brought in designer Chuks Collins, a close creative collaborator, to dress Katie, and tapped photographer Brack Duncan to capture her transformation. The shoot culminated in a written profile titled Her Phoenix Moment, which I authored and is now featured on Chuks Collins’ official website. This project not only celebrated Katie’s journey but also marked the beginning of an ongoing professional relationship between Chuks and me—I went on to produce his subsequent fashion week show, solidifying our creative partnership.
